Reliance Jio on Wednesday announced new plans which will be costlier by up to 39% compared to older plans. Customers will have to pay Rs 555 for 84-day validity and 1.5 GB of data per day, which is 39% higher than the earlier plan of Rs 399 offering same features. PTI

Airtel Board approves raising up to $4 billion

Airtel’s Board on Wednesday approved raising $4 billion through equity dilution and debt funding. It has given its go-ahead to raise up to $3 billion and an additional $1 billion, an official said. PTI
