Passenger vehicles post record sales of 42 lakh units in Dec

In 2023, the total sales were 41.02 lakh units. Passenger vehicles comprise, cars, utility vehicles, including SUVs, MUVs and vans.
Utility vehicle sales were up by 16.8 per cent to 27.50 lakh units, while passenger cars dipped by 14.4 per cent to 13.71 lakh units.
