To realize its long-term vision of becoming a "logistics company with a strong presence in the global market," the NX Group has positioned the Indian market as a key strategic base and currently operates 103 sales offices and 60 warehouses (offering approximately 4,499,000 square feet in storage space) in 39 cities throughout India. The company established the "India Development Group" in July 2025 to enhance its business expansion capabilities.

The state of Maharashtra is the single largest contributor to India’s economy, accounting for about 13.5% of the country's nominal GDP (*1), and it boasts robust logistics infrastructure composed in part of a railway network extending over 6,310 km, 18 national highways, two major ports and 48 non-major ports, as well as roads with a total length of about 328,000 km and three international airports (*2). The state has offered tax breaks, subsidies and other incentives under its "Maharashtra State Logistics Policy 2024" and developed systems for accepting investment such as "Japan Cell," a one-stop window for Japanese companies, and the Supa Japanese Industrial Park. These efforts have further increased the state's importance as an Indian manufacturing and distribution hub.
