Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz Sharif was also present at the summit and briefly interacted with Trump after the meeting. He will also travel to Washington to meet Trump.

“We want to end the war in Gaza. We’re going to end it. Maybe we can end it right now. This is my most important meeting... because we’re going to end something that should have probably never started,” Trump said.

As per Times of Israel, the US President, during the meeting, presented a plan for ending the Gaza war, which is based on a proposal crafted by former UK PM Tony Blair.

Reportedly, Turkish President Recep Erdogan said, “I’m satisfied — may the outcome be beneficial” and indicated that a joint declaration was expected soon.

Meanwhile, US special envoy to Middle East Steve Witkoff, in a conference, said he was "hopeful and even confident" that a breakthrough on Gaza could be announced in the coming days.
“We’re hopeful, and I might say even confident, that in the coming days we’ll be able to announce some sort of breakthrough,” Witcoff said at Concordia summit.
He said some leaders had already been briefed on Trump's "21-point plan for peace in the Middle East and Gaza".
