Uber on Monday launched Hourly Rentals, a 24×7 on-demand, intra-city service, which allows riders to retain a car with its driver for several hours, and make multiple stops on their journey. The service is available in 17 cities starting at a price point of Rs 189 for a one-hour/10 km package. PTI

Japan still in recession, but GDP shrinks at lower rate
Japan’s economy is still in recession but contracted at a smaller rate than initially estimated for the first quarter, according to government data released on Monday.
