Chandigarh, November 15

In view of President Ram Nath Kovind’s visit to Chandigarh, 1,272 police personnel will be deployed to maintain law and order in the city. Besides, 218 Home Guards volunteers will also be deployed. The police said 18 GOs, 38 inspectors, 361 non-gazetted officers and 855 other police personnel will be deployed in the city on November 16 and 17.
