A 24-year-old man has been arrested by the UT police for possessing heroin.

Mohammad Paliv, a resident of Mani Majra, was nabbed near the Mani Majra bus stand with 5.2-gm heroin. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
