10 Chandigarh Housing Board allottees win monthly prize for online payment

Chandigarh, July 6

To encourage online payments, the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) today held a computerised draw to give a reward of Rs1,000 each to 10 online payment transactions irrespective of the amount paid.

The CHB had recently introduced the online payment facility for all kind of dues by visiting its website, www.chbonline.in.

Yashpal Garg, chief executive officer, CHB, said a total of 10 winners were decided for a reward of Rs1,000 each.

Among the winners, the lowest deposited online payment was of Rs118 only and the highest deposited amount was of Rs19,699. Of the 10 winners, six persons had deposited less than Rs1,000. He said the prize money would be credited in the bank accounts of the winners. — TNS
