Ten fresh Covid-19 cases surfaced in Panchkula today. Of these, six are from Panchkula, three from Chandigarh and one from Punjab. With this, the total number of cases in the district has reached 119.

The patients include a 25-year-old man and a 59-year-old man from Sector 17, a 29-year-old man from Housing Board Colony, Kalka. All three are contacts of infected persons. The other patients are a 63-year-old man from Vishvakarma Colony, Pinjore. He was visiting the PGI for treatment. A 22-year-old man from Indira Colony and a 20-year-old woman from Marranwala village were also found positive for the virus. They both have a travel history to Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, respectively.

Now, there aee 27 active cases in the district.
