Fatehgarh Sahib, March 5

More than 100 students got job offers during a mega job fair organised by Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib.

As many as 700 students from different colleges, universities and institution of higher learning of Northern India participated in this career fair, said Dr Prit Pal Singh, Vice-Chancellor (VC).

The VC said the university was committed to give employment opportunities to the deserving youth. He congratulated the selected candidates and wished for their illustrious career ahead.

He said several renowned companies such as Oppo, Vivo, Jaro Education, Toppr Technologies, IDS Infotech, Bayatree Infocomm, Tiwana Oil Mill, Megastar Food, Vista Foods, Spectraforce Technologies, Cordlife, and Impinge Solutions Coca-Cola (Bottling plant) were part of the fair.

Dr C Rajesh, professor in-charge, University Training and Placement Cell, said the university would continue to organise such job fairs for secure and successful careers of the students.
