The third edition of Chandigarh Eye Film Festival was organised at Hotel Shivalik View, Sector 17, today, under the aegis of Chandigarh Ophthalmological Society by City Eye Bank in collaboration with Dr Ashok Sharma’s Cornea Centre, Chandigarh.

The Continuing Medical Education (CME) was attended by nearly 100 eye specialists of the region. The conference was inaugurated by Padma Shri Prof Amod Gupta, former Dean and Head of Advanced Eye Centre, PGIMER. Gupta cautioned the eye specialists to venture into new innovations or new surgical procedures with caution.

Dr Ashok Sharma, Director, Cornea Centre, Chandigarh, who was the chief organising secretary presented his work on corneal grafting in infants, and children.
