Chandigarh reported 120 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday taking the number of active cases to 1,088.

The total number of cases in the UT has reached 23,096 and the death toll remained 358.

A total of 64 patients were discharged, including persons from home isolation, who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
