Panchkula: The district reported 124 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday, taking the overall tally to 13,777. The district also witnessed a Covid death. A 59-year-old woman from Barwala, who had comorbidities, succumbed to the virus. The toll now stands at 156. While 12,577 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 1,044 cases are active. The recovery rate is 91.28 per cent.

2,542 vaccinated

As many as 2,542 people were administered the Covid vaccine at 32 centres on Monday. Over 77,000 doses of the Covid vaccine have been administered in the district so far. — TNS
