Chandigarh: The city on Tuesday recorded 136 new cases of Covid-19 and two deaths. A 61-year-old man from Dadu Majra, who was suffering from acute respiratory disease, died at the PGI and a 77-year-old man from Sector 44, who was suffering from diabetes, hypertension and chronic heart disease, breathed his last at Ace Heart Hospital, Mohali. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
