The CBI Court has sent advocate Sunil Arora to 14-day judicial custody. Arora was arrested by the CBI on the allegations of demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 80,000 allegedly on behalf of an Assistant Commissioner, Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST), posted in Chandigarh.

The CBI has registered the case against the accused under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act and 120 B of the IPC on a complaint. He was produced before the court after his one-day remand ended today and the court remanded him in judicial custody.
