Panchkula: The district on Friday reported 15 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the tally to 10,716. The Covid toll remained at 148. While 10,464 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 104 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 97.64 per cent. —TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
