Chandigarh reported 15 new Covid-19 cases and recorded one death over the last 24 hours, a health bulletin from the administration said on Tuesday.

A 77-year-old fully vaccinated man died at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research.

The UT now has 100 active cases and an average positivity rate of 0.85 per cent over the last week.

The latest fatality takes cases to 1,079. The bulletin showed 1,374 samples were taken for testing.
