A Mullanpur resident, allegedly involved in a dozen snatching incidents in Chandigarh and Mohali, has been arrested with 15 stolen mobile phones. The suspect has been identified Ajay Kumar, alias Gaggi, of Tira village in Mullanpur. He was held during a probe into a snatching incident in which he targeted Vijay Kumar, a police traffic marshal.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
