The police said they were investigating a claim that four friends were making a reel for the social media when the incident took place.

The victim’s friends raised the alarm after which neighbours rushed him to a private hospital where he was declared dead.

The incident took place at the house of Sukhwinder Singh Goldy, a security guard in a private firm. Goldy claimed that he had kept his pistol in the almirah under lock and gone for a court hearing when the incident occurred.
