19-year-old contracts virus in Panchkula
Panchkula, June 5
The 19-year-old son of a 52-year-old man from Sector 12-A, who was found positive on June 3, was found infected with the virus today. The number of Covid cases in the district has now reached 28.
“The sample test reports of the son and wife (48) of the patient from Sector 12-A have been received. While the boy has tested positive for the virus, the report of the patient’s wife is negative,” said Dr Rajiv Narwal, Covid nodal officer for the district.
The teenager has been shifted to an isolation ward at the Civil Hospital, Sector 6. At present, there are two active cases in the district. — TNS
