The police filed the chargesheet under Sections 323, 324, 431, 34 and 307 of the IPC.

Narinder Dalal, counsel for Sunil Kumar, argued that the accused has been falsely implicated in the case. He added that neither the complainant nor the injured supported the case of the prosecution. After hearing of the arguments, the court acquitted the accused of the charges.
