Two persons reportedly sustained gunshot injuries in the city on Tuesday evening.

Sources said the incident was reported from a taxi stand. The police, however, stated that they were verifying the incident.

Both the victims were immediately taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Sector 32 for treatment.

One of the injured, identified as Honey Bhardwaj of Sector 41, received an injury on neck, while the other person, Rajesh, suffered an injury on hand. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
