Two officials from the Municipal Corporation’s (MC) Fire Department were nabbed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today at the Manimajra fire station for allegedly accepting a bribe.

According to CBI sources, the suspects, identified as Dassehru Singh, a Station Fire Officer, and Kamleshwar, a leading fireman, were reportedly demanding bribe for issuing a fire no-objection certificate (NOC) for a commercial building.

The complainant contacted the CBI, leading to a trap that resulted in the arrest of both the suspects.
