2 held for snatching gold chain in Panchkula

Two persons have been arrested for snatching a gold chain from a woman.

The accused were identified as Amit Rawal (28), a resident of Sector 28, Panchkula, and Devendra Singh (39), alias Bablu, of Mohali. The police have recovered the stolen gold chain from them.

In her complaint, a woman resident of Panchkula stated that three-bike borne persons snatched her gold chain and sped away while she was on her way to a bank on August 19. A case was registered at the Sector 7 police station.

A team from the Sector 19 crime branch arrested two suspects on October 29.
