The police have registered a theft case against two employees of a Ludhiana-based firm for duping a sales manager of Rs 16.5 lakh.

In a complaint given to the police, Navdeep, sales manager and a resident of Green City, Jodhewal Basti, Ludhiana, said their firm supplies candy boxes to different cities in the country. On November 29, Sukhbir Singh, accompanying gateman Manpinder Singh, drove away with the company’s car and cash while he was having food at an eatery around 6 pm.
