Taking swift action to address lapses in sanitation management, Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Amit Kumar ordered the termination of two outsourced employees’ services during a surprise inspection at Faida village today.

The employees, Jatinder Singh, a Supervisor, and Gurpreet Singh, a Sanitary Inspector, were employed through outsourcing agencies.

During the inspection, the Commissioner and senior officials of the MC found that the area under the supervision of the two employees was in a deplorable state. Despite being responsible for maintaining cleanliness, both employees were found wanting in their duties.
