2 peddlers held with 25 gm heroin

Two drug peddlers have been nabbed by the district crime cell of the Chandigarh Police for possessing 25.74 gm heroin.

The cops were doing patrolling at Khuda Lahora when the two accused, Azad (21), a resident of Nayagaon, and Jatinder Singh (38), a resident of Dadu Majra Colony, were nabbed.

The police said while 17.74 gm heroin was seized from Azad, 8 gm was seized from Jatinder. A case has been registered against them at Sarangpur police station. It further said Azad wa already facing two more cases, including one under NDPS and another under Arms Act, registered against him at the Nayagaon police station in 2022. — TNS
