Chandigarh, February 16

Two proclaimed offenders (PO) have been arrested by the PO and Summon Cell of the UT police.

Manoj Kumar, a resident of Bad Majra, Mohali, who was booked in theft cases registered in October 2004 at the Sector 36 police station and December 2005 at the Sector 39 police station and was declared a PO in the cases in December 2008 and April 2010, was arrested today.

He was produced in a court, which sent him to judicial custody. Nathoni Miya, who was booked in a case of attempt to murder and the Arms Act at the Sector 36 police station in February 1999 and was later declared a PO, too has been arrested.
