Chandigarh: An ITBP constable has been arrested by the local police in a 2019 stalking case. The accused has been identified as Karan Singh, a native of Jalandhar. The victim, who worked as a manager at a store at Elante, had reported that she had noticed two boys following her in the mall. They visited the mall for the next few days and followed her. The accused also went to the store and tried to speak to her. On September 2, 2019, the accused stopped the victim in the basement of the mall and tried to speak to her. She reported the matter to the police following which a case was registered against Karan at the Industrial Area police station. TNS
