Only eight flights were on schedule at the SBSI Airport here, while the rest were delayed or cancelled due to low visibility today.

Twentytwo flights were behind schedule, some of them by more than four hours, even as three departures — Delhi, Goa and Mumbai — were cancelled.

Till 9:30 am, no flight could land or take off from the airport. The first flight to arrive here was from Bengaluru, late by one and a half hours. The first flight (to Delhi) departed at 10.02 am, late by three hours. The early morning departure to Lucknow was late by four-and- a-half hours.
