23 city students score above 99 percentile in JEE-Main

Twenty-three students of the city have scored above 99 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination-Main (Session 1). Arnav Jindal and Ranveer Singh Virdi have secured 99.99 percentile.

Several other students, including Keshav Bansal, Pushti Mittal and Shaurya Sharma, got 99.98 percentile. The students credited their success to disciplined study routines, rigorous practice and good mentorship. Their parents and teachers emphasised the importance of structured preparation and consistent effort. With JEE-Advanced up next, these students are now focused on securing top ranks in India’s premier engineering institutions. Their success reinforces Chandigarh’s reputation as a hub of academic excellence.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
