Panchkula: The district on Wednesday reported 26 new Covid cases, taking the district tally to 763. Seven outsiders are among the new patients. Hence, only 19 cases will be added to the Panchkula tally. The new cases include seven from Pinjore, three from Sector 20, two each from Sector 9 and Sector 15 and one each from Sector 6, Sector 10, Ramgarh, Sector 12-A and Rally village. CMO Jasjeet Kaur said 21 persons deported from foreign countries were added to the district tally. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
