3 arrested for stealing gold jewellery in Kharar

Kharar, February 24
The Sadar police have arrested three suspects identified as Updesh, Kasim and Durkarmian from a village in Bihar on the charge of stealing a bag belonging to Shivani Sharma, a resident of Sunny Enclave, in September last. They would be produced in a court on Tuesday.
Giving more information, ASI Kewal Krishan said complainant Shivani Sharma was going on her Activa with a bag containing 40 to 45 tolas of gold jewellery in September last year. She parked her Activa near Bhukuri village to purchase some item, the ASI added.
In the meantime, her bag was stolen by Hardish along with other suspects, the ASI said. Later, all suspect fled to Bihar, the ASI added. The main accused Hardish was yet to be arrested while three suspects were apprehended by the police, the ASI said.
