Three more Covid fatalities were witnessed in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 978. As many as 191 new cases surfaced, taking the case tally to 67,035, while 214 patients were cured of the disease.

Among the fresh cases, 46 were reported from Mohali (urban), six from Banur, seven from Lalru, 10 each from Kurali and Boothgarh, 17 from Gharuan, 28 from Kharar, 30 from Dera Bassi and 37 from Dhakoli. The district has reported 63,814 recoveries so far. —TNS
