Three drug peddlers have been arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Chandigarh Police for supplying heroin. The arrest of 48-year-old woman Aarti of Dadu Majra Colony for possessing 30 gm of heroin on January 2 led the ANTF sleuths to the drug peddlers. During her interrogation she revealed that one Gagan alias Gogi (36), a Dadu Majra resident, was supplying drugs to her.

During investigation, cops nabbed Gagan from Kalka with 24.82 gm of heroin, 77.80 gm of charas, five knives, a dummy pistol and a weighing scale. His interrogation led the police to two Amritsar-based drug peddlers. The police said Gagandeep Singh (23) was held for possessing 50.61 gm of heroin, while Gagandeep (24) was nabbed with 20.40 gm of heroin. Gagandeep was the main supplier of drugs, said a police official.
