The police have arrested three youths and recovered 16 snatched mobile phones and three stolen bikes from their possession. Arrested accused have been identified as Desumajra residents Satnam Kumar, Sunny, Arsh Ali, alias Manna, and Karan, alias Bhola, a resident of Sunny Enclave.

A case under Sections 304 and 3 (5) of the BNS was registered against the accused at the Phase-1 police station.

Prithvi Singh Chahal, DSP (City-1), said, “The accused were arrested near the ESI Hospital, Industrial Area, Phase 7, at a naka.” The accused were produced in a court which sent them to police remand, he said. Their questioning led to solving of snatching and theft cases and subsequent recovery of mobile phones and two-wheelers, he said.
