3 held within hours of committing robbery

The police have arrested three snatchers within eight hours of a robbery at Ram Darbar. An FIR was registered under Sections 304(2), 3(5), and 317(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita on the complaint of Anchul, (28) a resident of Hallomajra.

The complainant was attacked by two men in Phase 2, Ram Darbar while returning home from a temple on Monday. The two restrained him, stole his Aadhaar card and Rs 1,400 cash, and sped away on a motorcycle driven by their accomplice.

A Sector 31 police team led by SHO Rajiv Kumar arrested Shubham (24), Ashish (27) and Harsh (21), all residents of Ram Darbar in connection with the case. The stolen Aadhaar card, cash and motorcycle were recovered.

The suspects are labourers with a history of criminal charges, including theft, assault and stalking, against them.
