The police produced the three suspects before the court and the Judge sent them to judicial custody.

Gurjeet Singh, a resident of Zirakpur, had recently reported that after dropping off a woman at Surajpur, he parked his car near Rajjipur Chowk and fell asleep. The driver’s side window was open. When he woke up he found his mobile phone had been stolen from his pocket.

A case of theft was registered at the Pinjore police station and an investigation started. Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested the three accused today. They have been identified as Pankaj, alias Panku from Mahadev Colony, Raj Kumar of Rampur, Surajpur; and Dheeraj, also from Mahadev Colony.
