Mohali, December 18

Three more patients succumbed to Covid-19 in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 322. Besides, 94 fresh cases surfaced in the district while 116 patients were cured.

Among the new cases, 71 were reported from Mohali (urban), nine from Gharuan, seven from Kharar, two from Lalru, one from Dhakoli and four from Dera Bassi.

So far, 17,403 cases have surfaced in the district and 15,064 patients have already been cured. There are 2,017 active cases.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
