A three-year-old boy, who was the only son in the family, died after falling off the roof of his house in Bhagwanpur village last evening.

The victim, Anshul, son of Shiv Sagar, was playing with other children on the roof when he fell off accidentally. His father, an industrial worker, was away for work when the incident took place. The child was taken to the Dera Bassi subdivisional hospital where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
