Mohali, May 12

Close to 300 persons were vaccinated in two hours at a drive-through vaccination facility at the District Sports Complex near Sohana gurdwara in Sector 78 here on Wednesday. 

The Mohali administration launched two drive-through vaccination facilities (10am to 4pm) at the District Sports Complex in Sector 78 and Piccadilia The Theatre Cafe in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, on Wednesday morning.

The drive-through option was only for those aged above 45 years, and the registration was being done on the spot. An Aadhaar card or any other identity card and a registered mobile phone is to be carried along for the vaccination. Only two people were allowed in a car. It was a free of cost service on first come first serve basis.
