A 32-year-old man has been arrested with heroin.

The accused was identified as Jagtar Singh, alias Mintu, a resident of Mari Wala Town, Manimajra.A police patrol team led by Sub-Inspector Tejinder Singh from Manimajra police station intercepted the accused near the Uppal Marble area and recovered 12.72 grams of heroin from him on Friday. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against him.

The accused has studied up to Class 10 and works as labour support at marriage functions. He has been remanded in 14-day judicial custody.
