Chandigarh: A “Samvedna” camp was organised at all police stations/units and Traffic Lines, Sector 29, to check the status of residents’ cases, complaints and traffic challans from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday. A total of 321 persons visited the police stations and the Traffic Lines and 349 complaints were disposed of. The objective of the programme is to provide easy accessibility and speedy redress of grievances of general public as well as to bring about transparency and accountability in police functioning.
