A two-day mock drill to collect Covid-related data began here today.

Presiding over a meeting at the District Administration Complex to review the arrangements regarding Covid, Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain said the district administration was ready to deal with the virus. She asked people to adopt Covid-appropriate behaviour at all educational institutions, government and private offices, indoor and outdoor gatherings, malls, public places, etc. and to wear masks in healthcare facilities. She said the situation in the district was completely normal and urged people not to panic.

Meanwhile, the district reported 38 new cases of Covid today while four patients were cured of the disease. There are 224 active cases in the district, including 205 in urban areas, health officials said.
