Around 4 lakh Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) cardholders and their families will be eligible for cashless cancer treatment at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCH&RC) in New Chandigarh.

Dr Ashish Gulia, Director of HBCH&RC, said it would specifically benefit the working population of Baddi and the broader industrial workforce of Himachal Pradesh, who will now have access to cashless cancer treatment.”

A MoU was signed by Dr Ashish Gulia, Director of HBCH&RC, and Sanjeev Kumar, Deputy Director of ESIC, Himachal Pradesh, in the presence of dignitaries, including Dr Puneet Banotra, State Medical Officer of the ESIC, Himachal Pradesh, and Dr Amandeep Hastir, State Vigilance Officer, ESIC, HP.
