Four local players – Sandeh Jhingan, Anirudh Thapa, Narender Gahlot and Manvir Singh – have been included in the 28-member Indian team for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Qualifiers. Anirudh Thapa, Narender Gahlot and Manvir Singh are former players of Minerva Academy.

While Jhingan, a regular part of the Indian team, started his career in Chandigarh, Gahlot was part of the Minerva U-15 squad that won the Nike Premier Cup in 2016. Thapa, a former student of St Stephan’s School, Sector 45, was a member of the Minerva U-18 squad in 2016-17 and Manvir represented Minerva in the second division I-League in the 2015-16.
