The police raided a residential school in Tangori village on the Banur road and booked its director after 45 persons — 42 students and three staff members — were found Covid positive. A medical team took samples of 197 students of Career Point Gurukul and found 32 of the total 151 boys and 10 of the total 46 girls positive.

Three staff members also returned Covid positive.

A case under Section 188 of the IPC and 51 of the National Disaster Management Act, 2005, has been registered against Ummed Singh, director, and the management committee. — TNS
