49 new Covid cases surface in Mohali, toll up to 12,299

Mohali, October 30
The Covid-19 tally in Mohali district climbed to 12,299 with 49 new cases being reported in the past 24 hours. No casualty was registered till Friday evening.
Out of the total 49 positive cases, 30 came from Mohali urban, five each from Banur, Dera Bassi and Kharar, one each from Dhakoli and Kurali, and two from Gharuan.
Meanwhile, 21 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals in the past 24 hours. So far 11,536 patients in the district have been cured of the infection.
There are 526 active cases with 236 deaths in the district.
