He suspects the thieves may have used a spray on the sleeping members of the family making them fall in deep slumber. At Indira Colony, Vijay, an IT engineer visiting here from Karnataka, reported ₹15,000 was stolen from his room.
In another case, Muskan, an advocate of Sector 22, found jewellery and three case files missing from her paying guest accommodation.
A Verka booth in Sector 28-D was broken into and chocolates worth Rs 15,000, 8 kg of ghee, dairy products and Rs 3,500 in cash were stolen. In Sector-38, burglars stole a laptop, Rs 10,000 and expensive clothes from a locked room.
