The Bharti Kisan Union (Rajewal), All India Kisan Federation, Kisan Sangharash Committee, Bharati Kisan Union (Mansa) and the Azad Kisan Sangharsh Committee will organise a protest rally at Amb Sahib Gurdwara, Mohali, on Tuesday against the alleged delay in girdawari of damaged wheat crop.

They today alleged that the claim of the AAP government to pay compensation to the farmers by April 13 was a political slogan only.

BKU chief Balbir Singh Rajewal condemned the alleged dillydallying tactics of the government, which, he said, did not seem serious about giving immediate relief to the farmers whose 80 per cent wheat crop had been damaged.
